MJP Employment Services

MJP Employment Services is a division of Minda that offers a placement and training service for people with a mild intellectual disability who want to work in open employment.  MJP has trained, experienced staff who ensure that job placement needs are met through skills assessment and development of an individual work plan.

The range of services include provision of information about employment and training options, organising work experience and work placements, the provision of on and off-the-job support, assistance with job search skills, and provision of incentives to employers.

The service is not restricted by a time frame and can provide on-going support for employers and job seekers. MJP also has extensive experience and success in providing and facilitating accredited training courses.

MJP's Employment Services receives funding from the Commonwealth's Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to assist people with a disability to access open employment.

To apply for MJP employment services, applicants must:

  • Have information about their intellectual or learning disability
  • Be registered with Centrelink
