Growing up in Penzance Street, Glenelg, Minda President, Tony Harrison, was very much aware of Minda and the service it provides to people with an intellectual disability. Tony joined the Board in mid 2008, and was elected President in 2010.

Tony isĀ an Assistant Police Commissioner and a member of SAPOL's Executive Management strucure. He is responsible for specialist operational support services that provide support to operational policing areas. He has a number of tertiary qualifications and has participated in both national and international leadership forums. In 2004, he was attached to Kent Police in the United Kingdom.

As an external member, Tony brings to the Board considerable executive management experience in a service delivery organisation. In addition, he has been responsible for project managing large initiatives and strategies to ensure service delivery models are both responsive and progressive.

Further to his position as President of the Minda Board, Tony holds other Directorships, is also Chair of Minda's Master Plan Committee, a member of the South Australian Police (SAPOL) executive team, a member of the Australian New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency - Road Policing forum, and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
